The purpose of the Building Committee Ministry (BCM) is to establish and ensure adherence to uniform policy and procedures for oversight of the following:

1. The continued timely payment of the mortgage for the church property located across the street from Rose of Sharon Baptist Church (ROSBC) and timely payment for any improvements, renovations and enhancements to annex, the church structure, surrounding church ground and any church property subsequently acquired;
2. The general maintenance of the condition of the church structure, the church annex, surrounding church ground and any church property subsequently acquired;
3. The capital improvements, renovations and enhancements of the church structure, surrounding church grounds and any church property subsequently acquired;
4. The development and oversight of appropriate ideas for raising funds to augment tithes and designated church envelope building committee initiatives;
5. To assess the status of current and ongoing BCM initiatives;
6. The determination of the priorities of building maintenance, building improvements, renovations, enhancement to  church properties and any church property subsequently acquired;
7. To ensure compliance with current and revised building codes;
