Article IV:  Mission Statement

Dance is a visual and powerful means of expression, and is used as a means of the Holy Spirit touching and convicting people.  It’s an act of conveying a message from the Lord using facial, hand and body movements.  The nature of body movements and the messages are always in the uplifting of Christ Jesus.  We may bless and encourage others and be blessed ourselves, but our primary purpose is to worship our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  Just make sure that this is NOT ABOUT YOU. Praise dancing is a Ministry not a performance. It’s soul purpose is to minister the Word of God in dance for the purpose of saving souls.

DO-WOP:  A ministry of Adult and Young Adult women who love the Lord, which was formed to praise God through dance, not to entertain.  All that we do in dance is to glorify God and inspire someone else to want to worship the Lord with all their hearts.  Sacred dance is all for the glorification of the Lord.    We will not entertain the thought of hip hop.

Jewels of Christ (JoC)( pronounced Jay o Cee):  A ministry of Youth; wishing to praise the Lord through dance.

And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.  Exodus 15:20

Let them praise his name in the dance.   Psalm 149.3

And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.  Malachi 3:17
